This Privacy Policy explains how CinderPilot collects, uses, stores, and discloses information in connection with the Service.
1. Information we collect
Account information
We may collect information such as your email address, display name, company name, workspace name, subscription status, timezone, and authentication records.
Customer Content
We may collect the files, materials, business records, URLs, screenshots, reports, presentations, financial information, planning materials, and connected platform data that you upload, submit, connect, or generate through the Service.
Usage and technical information
We may collect session data, login and authentication logs, billing events, usage events, browser-provided timezone information, device/browser metadata, and similar technical and operational records.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide, maintain, secure, support, improve, and develop the Service; authenticate users; process billing; generate analyses and outputs; communicate about accounts and service-related matters; enforce our terms and policies; comply with legal obligations; and create aggregated or de-identified product insights and benchmarks.
3. AI and automated processing
The Service may use AI systems, model providers, and automated processing to analyze Customer Content and produce outputs. These outputs may be incomplete, incorrect, or require human review. We may use Customer Content and outputs to improve the Service unless you opt out where such opt-out is offered by CinderPilot.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We may share information with service providers, infrastructure providers, payment processors, communications providers, authentication or email vendors, analytics or model providers, and similar subprocessors as reasonably necessary to operate the Service. We may also disclose information as required by law, to enforce rights, investigate misuse, prevent harm, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
5. Third-party services
Depending on the Service configuration, CinderPilot may use third-party providers such as payment processors, model or AI providers, authentication email providers, hosting providers, and related infrastructure or communications vendors. We may update our providers from time to time as the Service evolves.
6. Data retention
We may retain account data, Customer Content, generated reports, billing records, and authentication logs for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, account history, support, backups, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, internal business purposes, and product improvement, unless deleted earlier in response to an approved deletion request where applicable.
7. Your choices
You can access workspace-visible data through the Service. You may request deletion of your account or associated data by contacting support@cinderpilot.com. We may retain certain records where necessary for legal, security, billing, backup, or business purposes.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies, sessions, and similar technologies for authentication, account security, service operation, and account-related communications. We may also use operational metadata necessary to keep the Service functioning.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly offer the Service to children.
10. Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, but no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access methods and for safeguarding the environments and systems you choose to connect to the Service.
11. International use
If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our providers operate.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated.
